Yes, it is one of the best book for physical chemistry which has a lot of problems from low to high level based on JEE MAIN AND JEE ADVANCED. This book is generally recommended by most of the coaching class chemistry teachers. It's theory is too good. But currently I am going to provide you the questions, as practice is much more necessary than theory part. And i really want to say you guys sorry as due to a lot of theory part i am not been able to publish it fully as due to this i am posting the questions which are of very tough level from this book for you to solve and if you want theory part too, then i will publish a seperate post for that part. As per the changing pattern of IIT-JEE every year, some changes in the presentation of the text and changes in problems have been made. My goal is to provide you the best books available with quality content. The presentation of heat and thermodynamics have been modified. The consistent presentation helps to modify the concepts of thermodynamics. As the central concepts of chemical reactions are too good,other topics such as thermodynamics, kinetics have also been improved. I must want to say that if you follow this book for solving numericals then surely you can achieve higher marks in chemistry section because there is just formula to use in solving numerical at that time and as physical chemistry is easier as compared with organic and inorganic there is not do much that you have to memorize in you brain. You can also see that mostly they ask in physical chemistry are numerical questions which are generally very easy only you have to be faster and quicker in solving and doing calculations. And the most important chapters of physical chemistry are heat & thermodynamics, ionic equillibrium, chemical kinetics, mole concept, stiochiometry etc. If you prepare these chapters then surely your jee rank will boost and will provide you a good score and a good rank.
Some tips for students-
1.This book has been written in the language of the moles, as the concept of mole is a essential factor in physical chemistry, understood it deeply. And related to its titration too which will be also helpful from your school point of view.
2. Almost all the fundamental principles have been provided before the introduction of new concepts, study them throughly.
3. A large number of selective problems have been provided, study them and try to mix them with other related concepts and then try to solve them.
4. Practice a lot as much as you can. Try to solve out atleast previous 10 years question papers and if i say they are so easy if you have understood all the concepts and formula properly. And practice atleast 10-15 different kind of hard level mixed questions per day, they will boost your confidence and also clear your doubt's where you got stuck and always remember why you stuck there.
